Union Foundry describes themselves as a “multidisciplinary design consortium” and have produced a wonderful little tool that makes you think; “Why didn’t I think of that first?”
You know what they say, everything is bigger in Texas. And personally, I would add that everything is better in Austin. So it only makes sense that Austin, Texas is the home of the longest annual charity ride in the world, the 4,500 mile annual bicycle trek against cancer known as The Sense Corp Texas 4000.
The 56 riders, consisting mostly of college students, will begin their journey on June 5, pedaling out of Cedar Park and cruising into Anchorage, Alaska 62 days later. How’s that for a summer ride?
Austin comes in at #11. Until we get our shit together on things like the bike boulevard passed in some effective form, and get cops to actually protect us from gun waving, truck swerving assholes, I’d say we’re still a long way from the top 10.
